Each season our range of cultivators changes as we add more known varieties and grow more of our own new seedlings. Seedling plants are taken through a rigorous 3-4 year test period before being offered for sale. During this period we monitor plant stability in colour, bloom form, stem length and strength as well as overall plant health. Seedlings that do not meet each of the criteria are culled and added to the compost pile to ensure only great quality stock is offered for circulation.
During sales times, usually Septempber/October each year once tuber start to wake from slumber, we open a secure store via our Facebook Page: The Potted Patch. We are a small home-based boutique grower, so varieties and numbers of plants available for purchase are very limited, but the benefit of this is that you will receive a plant that has been given the utmost love, care and attention through it’s growing and preparation phases.
