• Bunnytail Grass

While many plants can struggle with the summer heatwaves, these conditions are perfect for drying out our Bunnytail grass which is a fast grower through Spring and early Summer.

Starting our as delicate strands grown en mass from seed in pots or in the garden, they quickly develop soft, fluffy heads on top of fine but strong stems.

Once the stems have browned and the heads have released their seeds (for us to plant next season) we simply snip these at their base, tie them in clumps and hang them upside-down from the patio or garage roof away from moisture to fully dry.

Once dry, these are perfect for dried arrangements or for adding as additional variety to fresh vase arrangements.

We love adding these to our Dahlia vases!
